Information for April 26- April 30


Only four weeks left of class!!!  I can’t believe how fast this semester has flown by…

Here is the information for this week:



Our concert has been approved by Cabarrus County!  We are officially on for May 14, 2021 at 6 pm in the MPHS Stadium.  This will be a joint concert with MPMS.  The high school will be performing 2 songs as a full ensemble and percussion ensemble will perform one song.

Call time for high school students will be announced next week.

Attire: All black.  Black pants cannot be sweatpants/leggings/shorts or anything of similar nature.  Black jeans are acceptable if they have no holes.  Black shirts may be short sleeved but there can be no obvious logo.  No black running shoes.


After school rehearsals:

Our first rehearsal is this WEDNESDAY (4/28) 2:30-4.It is required for all students to attend. If there are conflicts with this rehearsal, as well as any of the future rehearsals (5/5, 5/12) email me ASAP.  It is not acceptable to email me the day of unless it is an extenuating circumstance.


Marching Band:

  • Upcoming performances:
    • Monday, 5/3, 3:30 pm- 6 pm at MPMS for “Day as a Tiger” Pizza will be available
    • Wednesday, 5/13, 8:30 am MPES Senior walk through.  Students must be passing their first block class to attend.
  • There will be no rehearsals prior to these performances.


  • 2021 Fall Marching Band Interest Video
    • In the month of May I will be posting a video detailing MP Marching Band information.  Please keep a lookout!


  • In the meantime please fill out this short Google Form to indicate your desire to be a part of the Mount Pleasant Marching Band:


  • Leadership Training: 
    • Thursday at 3 pm via Teams:
    • You must attend these meetings if you wish to submit an application for the 2021 Leadership team.
